Why this story is alluring, from a craft point of view, on Day 9 of the November Daily Write-Along

Hello dear writers,

It is Monday and the 9th day of our daily November write-along and today we will write. 500 words, thirty minutes, an hour, two scenes: whatever it takes to get us to the page.

How was your weekend? I have inexplicably fallen in love with following the Taylor Swift Travis Kelce love story. Inexplicably b/c I’m not a Swiftie! But we can learn some things about plot structure and story by considering why this story is attracting attention, beyond the fact that these are two celebs.

I have five craft points to make about the Taylor and Travis story and will give you a few writing prompts, too.
